The small, golden-yellow grapes were ripe, some overripe, with just a few raisined berries. They were pressed straight away, fermented in stainless steel for around eight weeks, and kept on the lees until early March.

Hallgartener Frühernberg The site has moderately deep, slightly sandy, stony loess-loam soils. The steep, south-facing vineyard receives optimal sunlight. Poor soil and strong sun limit vine growth, with drought causing water stress. |
