Deep, dense purple. The bouquet displays high intensity—earthy and spicy, with prominent oak-spice, subtle smokiness, and a rustic character featuring black pepper and ripe plum. On the palate, the wine maintains this intensity with relatively high acidity, lending good freshness. The tannins are firm and youthful, yet moderate in extraction. The flavour profile is dominated by dark berries, notably blueberry, alongside leathery notes of dark chocolate and mocha. Overall, the wine is somewhat brash, a quality likely to soften with time. It is already very good, showing a more rustic, vigorous, less typical "Super Tuscan" style.
Drink from 2028 through 2038.
