Clear, pale lemon yellow. On the nose, a clean, medium-intensity bouquet with floral notes of blossom, lemon, lime, green apple and peach. On the palate, the Spätlese has a clean flavour, medium sweetness and high acidity. The very fresh flavour again reveals the notes from the nose: citrus fruits, this time including oranges, as well as peach and a hint of pineapple. As expected, the alcohol is low. The flavour intensity is medium, while the body is rather lean. Fresh, precise. The acidity has a strong attack, but is by no means unpleasant. The finish is medium and is carried by sweet citrus fruits. I do not perceive any secondary flavours, the wine follows a straightforward, precise style.
Drink through 2027.
