Deep ruby in colour. Slightly reddish streaks in the glass. Fruity and sweetish-spicy nose of medium intensity. Dark plum, black cherry, blackberry. Vanilla and a hint of ash on top, possibly from the barrel ageing. Medium body on the palate with astringent but soft tannins. Firm acidity that harmonises well with the dark fruit. Blackberries and blackcurrants. Pleasant, albeit short, finish with dark berry skin and vanilla. A good wine for early consumption. Fairly extracted style in terms of colour, tannin and body.
