Deep ruby. Thick, reddish tears in the glass. Medium intensity on the nose. Ripe, slightly jammy and cooked aromas of dark berries. Prunes and blackberries. A hint of ash and grated liquorice on top. Drying, yet not overly present tannins with medium acidity. The alcohol is noticeable, a little warming and sweetish. Redcurrant, but aside from that dark berries again on the palate. Accompanied by dark chocolate. Straightforward, fruit-emphasised style. Not deep or complex. Good, slightly drying finish with tart fruit.
