Attractive, clear ruby red. Lovely perfume of red and dark berries: Cherry, raspberry, blackberry. There's also a certain zest underneath, something finely herbal and peppery, but it's very refined. Wow, this is such an inviting bouquet! Seducing rather than showing off. In the mouth, it's levitating, with a very light mouthfeel indeed. The tannins are soft, the acidity is balanced and fresh, and the alcohol is well-integrated. Quite an elegant and pure taste of fresh berries: Black cherry and blackberry. The aftertaste is dominated by red fruit. Flowing nicely. Exquisite and pure Cabernet Franc! One of my go-to Italian "house wines".
