Based in Niederösterreich, Austria.
Since 1980, Willi Bründlmayer has managed the family estate in Langenlois in Lower Austria's Kamptal region, together with his wife Edwige, Thomas Klinger, and Andreas Wickhoff, Master of Wine. The estate covers about 80 hectares of vineyards, around 70% planted with white varieties, particularly Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. Red wines include Pinot Noir (Blauer Burgunder), St. Laurent, Zweigelt, and Cabernet Franc. A founding member of the Austrian Traditional Wine Estates (Österreichische Traditionsweingüter, ÖTW). Organic viticulture. Some wines are matured in local 2,500-litre acacia casks and, for certain cuvées, in 300-litre oak barriques from native oak.
