My 2 Cents - I LIKE Bido, however - and while I understand this was probably a necessity due to many auctions ending at $1 - I do not prefer the $28 starting price. It is a deterrent for too many names (some i would gladly pay reg fee for, or even $15 - but not $28 ) and yet...I 110% understand that if a ton of auctions ended at $1 or even $3, or $5, it wouldn't be worth Bido's time for a) commission purposes; and b) because it would cost them more in labor to help initiate and broker the transaction. As many have said, it's a young company, and I am sure there will be a happy medium sometime soon...

You're right about that.

Another issue is that some bidders only place pre-bids but aren't present while the auctions are live. Hence they won't place another bid when they're outbid.

But I'm sure the Bido team is aware of these issues and is working on finding a solution. Bido is still a young auction platform and it has achieved a lot in quite a short period of time.

The only issue with Bido is its somewhat limited audience. As you see, some domains received no bids at all.

Once the platform picks up - it stands good chances indeed.

Thanks for your comment, Sahar.

See, this is one of the things I love about Bido: You're always listening and never tired of improving the site. This kind of dedicated personal support is rare even in this small industry.

Hi Dominik,

First thanks for the honest review, much appreciated. We will ease contract where possible, it is a work in progress.

Good luck with your auctions and I hope you are getting the word out to potential buyers.

Best,

Sahar
